Captcha image dosn't appear

When I create a 'contact form' or a 'secure log-in' form, the captcha image dosn't appear in dreamweaver or in internet explorer. I am using WAMP to test the form.

what happens if you browse directly to the WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_CaptchaSecurityImages.php file?

in the browser window, replace the page name with "WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_CaptchaSecurityImages.php"

for example, if you browse to the page at:

myPage.php

change it to:
WAVT_CaptchaSecurityImages.php

does that show anything in the browser?

Jason, I tried to open the php file in Internet Explorer, but I got the attached message.
I also noticed that when I went to locate the file on localhost, the file 'WAVT_CaptchaSecurityImages.php' was not transferred over to the folder called WA_ValidationToolkit. However the other 3 php files were transferred over. I copied the file called 'WAVT_CaptchaSecurityImages.php' into the folder on localhost and proceeded to open this in the browser. As I said at the beginning, I got the attached message - Mike

what is the address in the address bar?

are you sure wamp is functioning correctly?

try creating a new blank php page and add the following code to it:

php:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>

then open that in the browser.

Jason, I've created the info.php and attach a screenshot of the results, see 'info_php.PNG'. I have also attached a screenshot of my problem page in DReamweaver called 'Dreamweaver Screen.PNG' and a screenshot of the results called 'Browser result.PNG' when I view it in IE8. I'm obviously missing something - could it be a Flash Plug-in?
