Width of sub menus on hover

I'm having a problem - please see the attached image.

When I hover over "General Information" - two things are happening that I don't want to:

1) You can see the box for General Information becomes smaller in width
2) The entire sub menu (beginning with Cafeteria) is about 20 pixels too far to the left, and ends up partially under the 1st sub menu....

Where exactly do I look to fix this?

Any help appreciated.
