SA having Login and register on same page

Dear WebAssist support,

Is it possible to have more than one login page that is logging into the same Security Assist section. i.e On my first login page I would like to use for when customers buy a product they are asked to login if they have an account or they register as a new user before purchasing. I would really like to make this like the webassist website that has the Login and Register new users is the same page. It makes it so convenient for New users before they purchase.

On my second login page I would like to use it as a simple login that if a link is sent to a customer in an email to a secure part of my website, the first thing the user will be asked is to login on this second simple login that does not have the register as new user.

My question is can I have two login like what I have described that are logging into the same security assist section?

And second question is can I easily have a my login and register new user on the same page using webassist and how best would I go about doing this?

Again I am so grateful for your help.

Yes, you can have more than one login page.

The key thing to make sure of is that each login page is setting the same session variables using the same names. In the Authenticate User Server behavior, on the third step of the wizard, you can select columns to store in session variables. On each login page, make sure you are selecting the same columns.

by Default, the session names will be set to the same as the column name, if you do not change this, you will not have to worry about the names, if you do change this though, you need to change ot the same way on each login page.

As for creating a page with both login and register functionality, this can also be done.

Registration will use an Insert record server behavior to create a new user record, amke sure that the registration form has a uniquely named submit button and set the insert record trigger to the registration submit button.

Also make sure the login form has a uniquely named submit button and set the Authenticate User server behavior to trigger on the Login Submit button
