Bad File Management

Hey Guys... can you please think about file management BEFORE you release products? PLEASE? I own both Power Store and Power Gallery - which you guys assume we users will use together - BUT THERE IS A HUGE problem - instead of PREFIXXING folder and files differently you use the SAME folder directories for BOTH scripts/apps - come on GUYS... I know you are smarter then this.. after ALL you are WEBASSIST the industry leader RIGHT?
So why do I or your other users need to point this out to you? -
i want to use BOTH scripts - but without jumping thru major HOOPS i cant... any suggestions? thanks RV

I just install PowerGallery in it's own folder.

NOT a simple solution

Yes you can put ANY PHP script in it's OWN FOLDER
but then you have to RE-path all the support files ie: connections folder etc
this is a HUGE - HOOP JUMPING option - if it was developed RUGHT to begin with users would NOT have to jump thru hoops :(

I uploaded PowerGallery to it's own folder, ran the installation wizard, and started using it. Not that big a deal.

There is no hoop jumping needed,

Put the PowerStore files on your server at:
powerStore

and the PowerGallery files at:
PowerGallery

There is no re-pathing that will need to be done.

They are 2 separate solutions so are intended to be in separate folders on your site.

Just like you would install Dreamweaver CS3 into a separate folder from Dreamweaver CS4, you should install PowerGallery into a separate folder from PowerStore.
