Multiple user accounts ?

Hi, This looks like a great extension :)

But, is it possible to set-up different user accounts in the backoffice, all with their own personal galleries ?

So I can install one gallery backoffice to manage different users galleries on different webiste?

cheers

That is a good suggestion, but the feature is not currently included. We appreciate the feedback.

You could add that functionality relatively easily with Security Assist. We will likely enhance the user management with security assist to include in the next version.

Multple users

I had a similar question to this and only now discovered this thread. Can you give us an idea of when this would be implemented? I have the security assist extension as part of the suite license I bought. Can you point me in any direction. I am new to PHP and mySQL and come from the days when you supported CF and MSSQL.

Any help is appreciated. This is one of the best solutions I have seen anywhere and I am hopeful I can implement it soon.

Regards

Start by using the Security Assist documentation to create a user registration and login page. Then add a column to your user registration page to identify the user group.

Update the login page to store the user group column, and create rules in security assist representing the various user levels you want supported. Then use the various security assist server behaivors to block access to pages or sections of pages based on the rules you create.

Totally agree with this request. I installed today and was impressed. I'd gladly pay an upgrade to make multi-admin levels. Also would like option to have a version without Webassist back links. No offense. :-)

This is not on our immediate radar. We probably won't be starting an update to powergallery for several months, and will consider what features to add at that point.
