HTML Editor in update Form

Hi,
I have applied HTML Editor. Instead of showing the content of the field on an update page, it shows:
{rsANzeigen.products_description} in the upper left corner of the edit form field

the code on the page is:

<?php
// WebAssist iRite: Rich Text Editor for Dreamweaver
$WARichTextEditor_1 = CreateRichTextEditor ("Beschreibung", "../HTMLEditor/", "640px", "480px", "Custom", "../custom/test003_Beschreibung1.js", "{rsANzeigen.products_description}");
?>

It works fine on an input page with this:
<?php
// WebAssist iRite: Rich Text Editor for Dreamweaver
$WARichTextEditor_1 = CreateRichTextEditor ("Beschreibung", "../HTMLEditor/", "640px", "480px", "Custom", "../custom/test001_Beschreibung1.js", "");
?>
Any idea what I'm missing?

As a hint: if I use normal multiline fields it shows the content as it should. Thats also from where I started.

edit the HTML Editor instance on the page. Click the lightning bolt next to initial value and select the products_description column from the rsANzeigen recordset.

initial value not working on update page

on the Data Assist update page, in the HTML editor wizard, i click the lightening bolt and select the appropriate column from the WADA recordset, but when i finish and exit HTML editor wizard, the value has not held, and i am having to code it in manually. after i've done this i lose the editor placeholder.

this is the code after i've manually added the inital value. i then just see the PHP icon (attached screen shot) and i lose the HTML editor, so can't go back in to make any add'l edits: (both "what i'm watching" and "what i'm working on" should show the Editor placeholder)

<?php
// WebAssist iRite: Rich Text Editor for Dreamweaver
$WARichTextEditor_3 = CreateRichTextEditor ("watching_bio", "../HTMLEditor/", "500px", "300px", "Basic", "../custom/ae_bios_Update_watching_bio1.js", "".$row_WADAae_bios['watching_bio'] ."");
?>

1. any idea why the editor wizard is not keeping the init value? and
2. why, when i hand code it in, am i losing the editor placeholder?

thanks, jean

1. This is a bug that has been logged and it should be fixed in our next dot release. The work around is to reenter the wizard and set the initial value again, since it only does not save the first time.

2. if the initial value is set correctly, you should not have this issue.
