Security Assist and HTML pages

Security Assist and HTML pages

Why can't we restrict non-logged in users from visiting HTML pages using Security Assist?

And if we can, how do you do that? When I'm on an HTML page, I'm not able to select Insert>WebAssist>SecurityAssist>Page Access.

Is there a certain reason why?

Yes... the reason you cannot do it is because pages with an HTML extension have no server side language capabilities.

It is in fact the PHP extension that tells the web server to process the PHP language, so it would be impossible to add PHP language scripting to a page that cannot be processed by the PHP engine.
