Session variable

On the confirm.php page generated by the wizard and since my gateway has to be a Spanish bank, in order to pass the grand total of the page to the bank's website, I need to multiply the GrandTotal times 100. The bankers have told me to collect $ShoeCart->GrandTotal() x 100 in a session variable and use it in a hidden form element to send to the bank. What is the code I have to develop to insert in the page? Many thanks for your help.

On your page that is posting to your bank you will first need to add in the hidden form element. This is a regular form element that is of type hidden like this:

<input type="hidden" name="hidden1" id="hidden1" value="<?php echo ($ShoeCart->GrandTotal() * 100) ?>" />

The name of the hidden form element will depend on the requirements from the bank but the value should look like that.

Hi Eric,

Thank you so much for your reply. I have done it, but then the checkout button disappear and don't let me go to the bank's site.

The bankers have told me that I have to collect the total amount in a session variable stating the * 100 and then write it on a hidden form element.

The problem is that I need to pass an entire unformatted number for the bank site to recognize it. I don't know if this may help you understand the problem.

Please help me.

Thank you so much and regards,

Israel

The example I posted was just what a hidden form element that will set the value that is being requested from you by the bank should look like. The value that it is being set to is the total of the cart times 100. This total is already held in a session variable, I'm just assigning that value to the hidden form element.

Is the problem with the checkout button a new one? Please post back and include some more details about what is happening and what you are expecting as a result.
