Website not working after update

I have update the extentions with the new version. I made a change to a page but now everything stops working. I can not add any items to the cart anymore. Can I get somebody to assist me with this problem?

Upgrade not working

I am having the same problem. I uninstalled the previous version running in cs3 on mac 10.4.11 then installed 4.5.1, made a change to the cart ,now the page does not load. I stripped out all the code relating to ecart and the page loads. I proceeded to add a add to cart button and the page does not load.

So I know this does not help you, but at least you know your not alone. I too am looking for answers if anyone has any ideas.

Not working

I already found one problem which I first did not see. When I used the new update on a page it replaced the old code but also added an additional <--include file--> which was already inside the code. The second line was placed inside the code somewhere.

To see if there is a php error occurring add the following code to line 1 of your page:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

report back any errors that display after adding that code and compress a copy of the problem page in a zip file and attach it to your reply so I can investigate the code.
