Menu.css not found

Hello,

Used Menu Writer many times before. Not doing anything different, but now when I go to create a new menu on a new page, it comes out as a vertical bullet list.

I told the program that this is a new menu, horizontal, and picked some of the pre made menu samples.

Also, when I click on the Menu.css and Menu.js to trouble shoot, it says they are not found.

What am I missing here?

Thanks!!!

Hi Esther,

This may be a dumb question but for sake of troubleshooting, can you confirm that the menu.css and other related files actually exist and do they show up in their typical spot in your site's folder hierarchy?

If everything is there, it sounds like there is a possible path error, perhaps your site definition contains an incorrect path value for the testing server.

Cheers,

Brian

Hi Brian. Not a dumb question, because you're right. The folders weren't showing up in the site folder.

It worked itself out when I started from scratch on a new page and actually opened up the site in the Files panel. ??? Weird. I never thought that having the site open or closed in Files would make a difference, but I guess it does.

Thannk you!!!!
