Of course. Just add the column to your eCart definition and then it should be available to bind to a form field you add to your add to cart page.

binding to a form field

I've added the column to the Ecart definition. How do I bind to a form field when I add the add to cart button? I select the lightning icon next to the field, but I don't know what to select next. Thanks!

You should see the column in the add to cart interface. You can check the "updatable" box with the column selected and set it to a text field to allow user input when doing the add to cart.
