When trying to define a DB connection I get a 404 error

So far I have checked the testing and remote servers, I have reinstalled twice.

It looks like your Dreamweaver testing server site definition is wrong. You have the server url set to:
http://oasnewbuild.net/

but it should be:
https://oasnewbuild.net/

When trying to define a DB connection I get a 404 error

HI, thanks for that, I am interested in knowing how you saw that as on my Dreamweaver it has the https:// does the www matter and do I need to rebuild or delete anything to get this working? Just changed that to https://oasnewbuild.net/ i.e. removed the www, and it's still failing. Sorry to be a pain.

It looks like it shouldn't matter if you use www or not. I test it by copy/pasting the url into a browser and seeing if it changes. If the url stays the same, then that url should work. If the https or www. changes (added or removed), then update it to the changed value.

Do you get the same error when it fails now or has the error message changed?

Can you export your site definition so I can import it and reproduce the error? I'll need to see it to figure out what is going on. You could also call me and we can do a screen sharing session and I can debug it that way.

Can you put up your /Connections folder? I'll need that to test your connection.

If you send me the database server name, username, and password, then I can use that to try to reproduce the error. We can do it next week too in a screen sharing session if that works better for you.
