your PHP server doesn’t MySQL module loaded ’t mysql_(p)connect function

I have followed every thread with this error message and I cannot find the cure. I have a fully functioning site build in Dreamweaver, converted to mysqli. Downloaded your application and was able to create new pages edit and existing pages. Open Dreamweaver 2020 today and I cannot do anything, can' connect to database getting the above message. I have tried a number of changes based on answers to this question in previous posts. Still cannot get it working. I also tried a new site from scratch and getting the same message. Testing server and remote servers are the same, I can upload/download files just fine, view the testing server and remote server files. Help? Thank you in advance.

This is usually an issue with your Dreamweaver site settings and testing server configuration. Maybe a bad url, or maybe you didn't start your local testing server. Can you browse files on your local testing server?

Ray, The testing server is remote, the same server as the website. Yes I can browse the files.
Thanks

I'd need to see your testing server settings. Maybe you have http:// but you need https://

Is that what you have in your testing server website url area? Can you send me your Dreamweaver site definition? I can use that to reproduce the error and debug it.

I sent it to your email.

The site definition you sent didn't include the FTP credentials, so I can't connect and test. What is the FTP username and password?

It seems to work for me. It might be an issue with your Dreamweaver installation or your extension install. What steps should I use to reproduce the error? Maybe I'm missing something.

Try opening and closing Dreamweaver, clearing your winfilecache .dat file, and maybe reinstalling the extension. If that doesn't work, then I'll need to set up screen sharing with you to reproduce and debug it since it all seems to work for me.
