new WA_MySQLi_RS what is the number parameter for?

what is the number parameter for in this statement following the connection variable? in this case the number 1
$rsquery = new WA_MySQLi_RS("rsquery",$connection,1);
And what options are there here?

That is the number of results to retrieve. 0 returns all results, otherwise it is set to the number of results displayed on the page. If you apply a repeat region on the page, that number is updated automatically to reflect the number of rows in the repeat region.
