Is dreamweaver CS4 using PHP able to use webassist mysqli for creating site connection setups & queeries

looking to connect Dreamweaver CS4 to mysqli using PHP through Site Manager in order to create LocalHost database setups. Then use those tables with webassists behaviors. {Mysql has been depricaded.} I am using PHP 7.1+ MySQL is unsafe, no ISP hosting service is using that any more. Manual connection in PHP code is fine. I need Dreamweaver's Site Manager connection for the recordsets, Pick and choose what I want.

Yes. It works with CS4 and above. The only thing that won't work is the visual query builder, which requires CS6 and above, but that isn't a necessary piece.
