Is there a User Authentication tutorial for the mysqli server behaviours, I can't get it to work from the help file

I have added the Restrict access to the page, and added a form with username and password field, then I added the Mysqli Log in User, but this is where I don't understand, where does one specifiy that the form must check the database, and where does one specify that the form submit must perform the task of checking the login, and then redirecting to the relevant pages?

I can't seem to make head or tails of the help manual attached to the behaviour.

Please attach the login page you are working on so I can see what you have done and I can comment on where you might have gone wrong.

The mysqli login user server behavior allows you to chose the database table you are looking up the registered user in and then in the Filter tab you can choose which column(s) to compare to which field(s) in the database before logging in. It also allows you to specify a success and failure redirect based on the result of that login.

You are filtering the login with the result from a recordset. You should be using the form element values. You don't even need a recordset on the login page at all.

Open the user authentication server behavior by double-clicking on it in the Server Behaviors panel.

Then go to the "Filter" tab and select the username column and click the lightning bolt. Go to the FORM and the input field where you want people to enter their username. Now do the same thing for the password field on this tab.

Then click OK. Right now you don't have any filters to allow access, so everything would work. It isn't checking the form input at all.
