Activation Fails

Hello - Used a couple of the recommended ZXP installers. Menu appears in Dreamweaver but do not get the activation. Have started/restarted application, uninstalled/reinstalled extension multiple times. I'm using Dreamweaver 19.2.1 build 11281. Thanks!

Usually you have to open a page after installing and that will run a secondary installer. Then you have to restart Dreamweaver one more time. If you have difficulty then post your phone number and I'll walk you through it in a screen sharing session free of charge.

There was an issue in a build that was recently updated that was causing the secondary installer to not run properly. I've updated the build now. Please re-download and re-install the .zxp from your account page and it should work properly now.

Hello - I have successfully installed the extension on my home office iMac running Dreamweaver 20.1 build 15211 but after the installation and running Dreamweaver I get the attached error. If I click OK, Dreamweaver launches but when I try to use any WebAssist menu item the error appears again.

That might be leftover from the previous issue. Do you have a lot of other extensions installed? One solution might be to delete your user's configuration folder and then re-download and re-install. That would effectively remove all traces of any extensions installed previously and give you a fresh start.

If you do have a lot of extensions installed, then I could help you clear out the necessary files individually. Just post your phone number here and I can do screen sharing to help.
