DW is changing the code in WA recordset wizard

DW is changing the code in WA recordset wizard

Created an insert page using Data Assist.

Created a recordset to filter on the field 'TAC'. Using this RS to prevent insert page adding duplicate 'TAC' value submitted from insert form.

Previously I recall just using $_POST['TAC'] as the runtime value format, which worked, however I'm seeing the following in my DW code view

<?php
$TACDupeChk = new WA_MySQLi_RS("TACDupeChk",$tacDB,1);
$TACDupeChk->setQuery("SELECT TACdb.TAC FROM TACdb WHERE TACdb.TAC = ?");
$TACDupeChk->bindParam("i", "".((isset($_POST["TAC"]))?$_POST["TAC"]:"") ."", "-1"); //chktac
$TACDupeChk->execute();
?>

And its causing a MySQL error.

When I return to the runtime value in the WA recordset wizard, the value <?php echo ((isset($_POST["TAC"]))?$_POST["TAC"]:""); ?> has replaced $_POST['TAC']

Any ideas?

That is the correct code. You should always check if a variable is set before referencing it. What is the error you get?

The error "There is an error in your SQL syntax" displays

I have recordset which returns all values in one column so that I can validate the submitted item against it for duplicate entries.

However, as I have placed the filtered recordset above the insert behaviour, the $_POST['TAC'] value has no value since the form hasn't been completed, I'm assuming that this maybe causing the error?

But then how do I check for duplicates if the filtered recordset is placed after the insert server behaviour?
.

I don't think this is a problem with that line of code. Can you give me a URL to reproduce the error and FTP access? I'll debug it and let you know what is going wrong.

It looks like the FTP information you gave me goes to a sub-directory so I can't view your files. Please update it and I can try to take a look.

I currently get a SQL syntax error on that page. If you update your rsobj.php file you can turn on Debug and then it will give you a more complete error message.
