Check new user issue

Thread began 2/02/2020 6:23 pm by Richard | Last modified 2/02/2020 8:14 pm by Ray Borduin | 280 views | 1 replies |

Check new user issue

Have use "Check New User" successfully with the "ADD" function.

Now trying to use same but with the "UPDATE" function and getting the following error
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class 'WA_MySQLi_Auth' not found in /home/riclau7/ Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /home/riclau7/ on line 7

In the attached example case -- trying to check data field "aircraft" to insure that it has not been already entered to the database.

Do i have a syntax error or is it that cannot use that function in conjunction with Update?

Dreamweaver can occasionally put code in the wrong order on the page. In this case, just move the include on line 17 up above the check new user name code that starts on line 5. That should fix this problem.
