James

Quuestion about settings for data bridge.

I am using two computers for my websites. Desktop and a laptop.
I just set up the Laptop with a new website and Set up the security. On my Desktop, I downloaded the website, but all of the security settings I set up aren't there.
Also all the sessions and cookies aren't in the bindings tab.

Is there a local folder on my laptop that I need to copy over to the desktop to get these settings to sync on both computers?

Thanks!

The sessions and cookies are saved in a hidden _notes folder in the root of the site. You could probably manually copy that to your other computer in order to make them in sync.

The security settings should be saved from the webassist/securityassist/ folder. If you downloaded that and it is in the root directory then they should be recognized.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

ok, well for some reason when I was going through all the settings setting up this ONE website, I turned off design notes sharing and cleaned up any files in there...
I just checked the website public_html folder and there is no _notes folder. So I will have to make sure to turn that back on right now.

Thanks
