Data Bridge - recordset Filter Errors

Ray - Upgraded to DataBridge and installation/activation went fine.
Spotted a issue with the Recordset upgrade to MwSQLi
The converter is not handling the filter value correctly.
It does not place the "value" that was in the MySQL recordset filter... instead it is placing the variable name in the filter value.
I am having to correct each one by hand.
see attached before and after

Can you attach the page where you have the issue. I'll take a look and see if I can tell why. It could be an issue with the way the original Recordset code was written and not with the conversion itself.

DataBridge - Recordset filter

Ray - belay my previous.
I see what Databridge is doing,,, When you change the connection,,,, it changes the filter value and you have to re-edit the correct value before pushing "OK"

if you want to connect up to debug see private note

This is actually the Adobe Recordset Interface, so that must be the standard way it works. I think if you go to "Advanced" view first you won't have that issue. That is probably the best solution for now.

DataBridge - Recordset filter

Ray --
also noticing that Databridge is leaving some MySQL trash in the code post conversion.
specifically the MySQL connection statement --- <?php require_once('../Connections/acad_reg.php'); ?>

Is this intentional? any reason to not delete it?

I think it is supposed to delete it if there is nothing else using it on the page. It is supposed to go through all of the server behaviors and make sure it isn't in use before deleting it. It doesn't delete it always, because it may still be used by other Recordsets, Insert, Update, or Delete server behaviors. However, it is supposed to delete it once all of those have been updated on a page.

If it doesn't, and you are sure it isn't in use, then you can just manually delete it.

#1) Try adding this to the top of the page:

php:
<?php

ini_set
("display_errors",1);
?>

That should at least give you an error message instead of a blank page so we can have something to go on.

#2) Just save the group value with MM_Usergroup and then all of the old user group server behaviors should work just like they used to. You can do more complex things with Security Assist Groups and Rules, but if you are just trying to replicate the old functionality then this is the easiest solution.
