column bindings done work in webassist

I am using Dreamweaver CC2018 and WebAssist MySQLi Server Behaviors.
When trying to write a php page to insert, update or do anything to my mySQL database i cannot carry out the column bindings procedure.
I am unable to attach any item from the Dynamic Data selection window.
The WebAssist dialog box will not execute the code with the error message:"Please select a dynamic data item."

In the screen shot you have the recordset selected.... you need to select one of the columns under it. Realistically if you are soign an insert or update then you should be selecting a form element from within one of the form bindings and not the recordset at all.
