convert mysqli

When I purchased your product I did so with the intent to create a user registration page on my website. I installed everything but when I go to the webassist drop menu and go click on create security page. Nothing happens.

Also how do I convert to a mysqli website. The info page said that it is easy.

After the secondary installer runs you need to restart Dreamweaver. Open any web page and it should run a secondary installer with three steps that pops up on the screen. After that runs you have to restart Dreamweaver. If you don't do those things the menu options won't work.

To convert from MySQL to MySQLi, just go to the site you want to convert and add a new MySQLi connection through the database panel. Once you have the connection made and working (test it with the test button). Then you can open any recordsets, insert, update, or delete server behaviors and change the connection from your old MySQL connection to the new MySQLi connection and the code should be updated for you.

Sorry I am new to this. I have downloaded and installed the Data Bridge package. I reopened dreamweaver. But what do you mean by the secondary installer?

Is there a video or youtube video I can watch?

Unfortunately there isn't a video on this. It should be pretty straightforward, but if you need more help you can let me know and I'll call and walk you through it once to get you started.
