Your PHP server doesn't have the MySQL module loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p)connect

I am developing the site using my localhost. Apache/2.4.34 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.1.0i PHP/7.2.9 on a Windows 10 64 bit Lenovo computer. Server version: 10.1.35-MariaDB - mariadb.org binary distribution Client version: libmysql - mysqlnd 5.0.12-dev - 20150407 - $Id: 38fea24f2847fa7519001be390c98ae0acafe387 $
PHP extension: mysqli curl mbstring

When I try to create a Dynamic MySQLi Connection, when I am in the Primary Connection tab,
I am able to enter the connection name, user name, and password just fine. When I click on the Database "Select" button, I get the message "Your PHP server doesn't have the MySQL module loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p)connect ". This prevents me from creating a link to the database.

Not sure what to do from here - read earlier posts but could not find an answer for this.

Thank you for all of your help.

Best regards,

Ralph

Reinstall the latest version. The message you have posted has been updated, so you must be on an older version.

After you reinstall go to: Site->Advanced->Remove Connection Scripts

If you still get the same error it means your testing server settings are incorrect and aren't pointing to the same folder as your testing server URL.

Hello Ray,
Thank you very much for your help. I uninstalled the extension, and then reinstalled it and now it works just fine.

Thank you!

Take care and best regards,
