Problem encoding special characters

Hello,
I have a problem displaying my special characters http://s288589184.onlinehome.fr/?categorie=5
But I use the following tag :<meta charset="ISO-8859-15"> and I am in "latin1_swedish_ci" in my database.
With MySQL this coding worked but with MySQLi I have this display problem.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Clara

Did you set the charset in your database connection as well? If you give me a url and FTP access I can try to debug what is going on.

Hello,
The URL is the following http://s288589184.onlinehome.fr/?categorie=5
And for FTP access I put them in the private message

I updated the page and connection to use utf-8 and that seems to solve the problem.
