Views are not shown in Databse items

Is there a reason why created MySQL views do not echo data while tables do as usual? The views are shown as tables in dialog screens in DW CS6 and show up in tests from the dialog.....

It should work. If you give me the ability to reproduce it by sharing FTP access and the website URL I can try to see what is wrong.

Thank you Ray, but I would rather not do that. This would give you access to the complete site and that is too big of a risk.

Let me list the things that I tested and ther results:

Using the same connection strings:
Getting data from a table: Ok in DW Dialogs, (WA) Ok on webpage
Getting data from a View, NOT listed in Views in the Advanced Recordset Dialog )WA)
Getting data from a View, listed in Tables in the Advanced Recordset Dialog: (WA), View Listed, Dialogs OK, No data on the web page

I think there is an issue with parameters in MySQLi and views. You can add a setting to turn off parameters in your SQL and it will build the SQL statement manually with mysqli_escape_string() instead. That will probably fix issue #3. The tree control in the advanced recordset dialog is broken in general, so I'm not too concerned about that immediately. I may have time to go in and fix it, but the Querybuilder is more powerful and can be used in its place, so I may decide to remove it as well.
