It is most likely an issue with your testing server definition in Dreamweaver. I've seen that error for example when you have your server set to force https:// but your site url only has http://.

I have spent several hours reading your forum and trying different settings. Sometimes it will briefly connect. Today I tried again. The testing server connected ok. I went to the WebAssist connection dialog and it did connect and find the databases on mysql. I then tried to open a mysqpli record set connection. This dialog shows "No Tables Found". Now if I go back and check the WebAssist connection dialog, I get the error I mentioned above.

Are you using a remote connection or local? If you are using a remote connection then you can send me your site definition and I can test it.

It seems to work for me consistently. I'd need to set up a screen sharing session in order to debug why it isn't working for you. If you post a US phone number or Skype contact information I can call and schedule a screen sharing session with you.

I was able to fix this issue and will get out a new build in the next couple of days to address it.
