CS4 and Memento
I just upgraded to DW CS4 and Memento doesn't like it. Have there been issues I should know of and solution already provided somewhere? Or do I just disable this thing?

I'm not aware of any spcific issues with the Memento panel. Could you say a bit more about what you mean by "Memento doesn't like it"?
If you're having issues, you can modify the Memento settings by going to Edit-> WebAssist Preferences, and then selecting Memento in the list on the left.
When I start up DW CS4, I get a DW error box that says:
While executing onResize in WA_Memento.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
In file "WA_Memento":
refreshUI is not defined
I then click OK on that box and a 2nd one comes up:
While executing onShow in WA_Memento.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
In file "WA_Memento":
_MementoNotifications is not defined
I click OK on that box and a 3rd box comes up with the same message as the first. I click OK and DW continues to open and I have a relatively small, blank Memento box in the upper left corner. I exit out of that and continue to work in DW just fine. I go through this ritual every time I start DW.

One thing to try is to try #4 on the following page:
viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19105
If that doesn't work, then someone may need to work directly with you, so please do post a support incident: techsupportinsert_1.php .
No... thanks. I've been grappling with various technical issues last few days and quite weary of reading yet another unclear and long set of instructions in hopes of fixing my problem. If you can't be more specific about solving this WA conflict with DW, I'll just disable the bloody Memento thing and be done with it.
The particular item that I pointed you to is about 15 lines, and half of that is telling you were to make a change in various versions of Dreamweaver on Mac and PC (not too long, once you get to it that is) and I know it has helped quite a number of people with similar issues (this issue fixes all manner of issues that Dreamweaver seems to bring upon itself, and isn't specifically related to any particular extension). I've re-read it and not quite sure how it (#4) could be stated in a way that is clearer or even shorter.
Given I'm sorry that this has happen and I do understand wanting things to just work and understand wanting to turn off things that aren't.
Best of luck.
You're right, I missed the reference to #4 in my bleariness and impatience last night. I just turned it off. Thanks... and best of luck to you too.
Hi, I installed Memento and and removed it but I am left with the error message
"Unable to find file WA_Memento.htm in the Configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown"
Tried : Step 4 in the Adboe Article
#4 on the following page:
view...nalId=tn_19105
no luck. Any suggestions.

Must have a memento file left over in the StartUp folder in DW that is still trying to open it. Did you disable it from your preferences? That should stop it, or you could try removing the startup file manually... I assume you removed the other memento files manually.
If you get this message every time you restart Dreamweaver, then you've run into a bug where Extension Manager doesn't update the workspace properly when an extension with a floating panel is uninstalled. To remedy this, go to the upper right of Dreamweaver where there is a drop list of workspace names (mine currently says Designer). Click to open the drop list and select: Reset 'Designer' (or whatever your current workspace name is).
Note: If you've modified your workspace and haven't saved it as a new worksapce then your changes will be reset as well.
