Linux or Windows Server

Hi,

I am thinking of using eCart with Digital File Pro and DataAssist.

Do they work well on both Linux and Windows servers?
Is one better than another?

Thanks

i have used these products successfully with both windows and linux.

i have a preference for linux as htaccess configuration is well documented, (for url rewriting etc).

the only downside i have found with linux is that it is case sensitive, windows is more forgiving.

I had a few issues with capital letters in queries etc until i was a bit tighter with my nomenclature.

For what it is worth. I prefer Linux for my eCart development and implementation. I personally have created from scratch and completed 5 full implementations of eCart and I am very pleased with the results, as are my clients. I recently finished a project using v2 of Digital File Pro and I am thrilled with that too. Lastly, I think DataAssist is probably the MVP of all the extensions I own.
