This extension can not be instaled, it requires Dreamweaver version 9 or greater.

I just made this purchase and received the above mentioned error when I tried to install. I am running Dreamweaver CC 2015 and have the latest extension manager. I googled solutions and came up empty.

Adobe Third Party Installer

I found a workaround for this issue. Go to the following website and follow instructions to install third party extensions:

That is not the answer to dw cs6 . Adobe extension manager- cs6 installs other extensions without any problems but fails to install this freetools_115.zxp. instead brings up the above titled error. Webasisst either need fix it somehow or if it can not better just take it! No?

Version 9 is CS3... so I'm not sure why that message is coming up for you. Have you tried installing the CS3, CS4, and CS5 version? It should technically work in CS6 as well.
