Inserting into 2 tables with 1 webassist Data Insert

Hello,

As the mySQL Stored Procedures falls into the 'no so much fun' category because webassist does not support them, I am looking to inserting into 2 tables with 1 submit form. I can get the next auto-increment value of 1 table and I will use it on the insert of the second table (PK of 1 and FK of the other). How can I do this? I know it's a hack...but it is what it is.

Just apply the insert server behavior twice, once for each table. The UI allows you to save the key value in the session that you can refer to in the second insert.

Instead of a table (as it will not require any user input) can I simply use ->setQueury(Insert INTO ....?

If so how should I call it? If not I would want it to be executed before or after the 'normal' form Webassist Insert without user action other than the submit button to execute both inserts

You should still use the webassist insert record server behavior applied twice. It doesn't depend on user input.
