Product Options buttons not working properly

Product Options buttons not working properly

Im having problems getting some of the buttons to work when I try to add product options within my Cafecommerce store - the green buttons to add an option to a group only seem to work intermittently, and the same for the green 'Add Option' button - I often have to refresh the page to get it to do something. Now the product options page isn't showing at all for one of my products (just shows me a blank white page). Its often taking me 7 or 8 tries to click on a button, so uploading my info is very very slow!
I'm using Mac OSX 10.10.5 (Yosemite)

What is your store url and what browser are you using? I'll look into it and try to get this resolved, but first I have to reproduce the problem.

Thanks for your help :) - its only in the first stages of building the site but the url is: https://paddedcollars.mycafecommerce.com

I'm using Chrome as a browser (the latest version)

This had to do with having over 6.000 variations of that product. I've fixed the page so it will load, but it will still be slow simply because of the size.

You might want to consider breaking the product into several products because each option increases the number of products exponentially. I'd certainly refrain from adding more options to that product.

Thanks very much for doing that.... oh dear I'd hoped this website would cope with all the options as well as my last one, I have a lot more products all with a similar range of sizes and colours to copy over, I might have to think again.

Unfortunately the buttons didn't work right from the first option I entered, but I can see how the page had a melt-down, I had thought it would just make a drop-down a list of options to pick a combination from for one item, rather than each possible variation as a separate entity, which I don't really need.

Can I get a phone number from you to call. I'd like to look into your situation and improve our system to better accommodate you and I think a quick phone call will help.

Hello Ray,

Just wondering whether you'd managed to add the changes we talked about on the phone yet? and if you have already where do I find them, as I can't see any changes so far....... thanks for your help!

I just pushed the update live. You can now add options with or without the "Track Separately" option. If an option group is not tracked separately it will not create a new iteration of the product and will not bog down the system.
