I cant get the display manager to work is there something that I need to do first to get this to display?

I cant get the display manager to work is there something that I need to do first to get this to display, I am following one of webassists tutorials, I have opened a php page and then the tut. says to open the display manager but I am only getting this on the php page I opened instead of the window for the display manager: <!--MENU-LOCATION=NONE--> <!----------------------------------------------------------------------------- - File Name: - WA eCart 02Display.htm - - Description: - Opens the Display Manager - - - This file contains proprietary and confidential information from WebAssist.com - corporation. Display manager in ecart 6 not initializing

If anyone one can help me I really need some help, I am building a shopping cart using ecart6 and I was following a tutorial from web assist to set up the catalog page that would store my information, first step was to create a cart.php page, then to define a ecart object, I did all of these steps with no problem, next was to open the display manager which would not open but only left this message on the cart.php page:

<!--MENU-LOCATION=NONE-->
<!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
- File Name:
- WA eCart 02Display.htm
-
- Description:
- Opens the Display Manager
-
-
- This file contains proprietary and confidential information from WebAssist.com
- corporation. Any unauthorized reuse, reproduction, or modification without
- the prior written consent of WebAssist.com is strictly prohibited.
-

------------------------------------------------------------------------------>

Am I missing something here, was there something else I should have done, I have already made the database connection to web server and everything was running fine until the display manager refuses to open, please if anyone can help me or steer me in the right direction with a proper tutorial with how to set up a full shopping cart with ecart6 from start to finish it would be greatly appreciated.

Try clearing your filecache.dat file and see if that fixes it. If not, post back with your contact information in the private area of this thread and I'll debug it with you directly.

Thank you so much for your help Ray, clearing or deleting the filecache.dat file which is called MacFileCache-AAC4CD58.dat on my Mac fixed the problem, so now the display manager comes up. I can now get back to those tutorials, thanks again.

Display Manager

Where did you find the filecatch.dat (or MacFileCache-AAC4CD58.dat) on your Mac?
I have had same problem to open the Display manager

There is a cache file in Windows as well.

Open windows explorer and type in: %appdata%

then browse to Adobe and the Dreamweaver version you are using. You will find a configuration folder there and inside that folder you will find a file that begins with winfilecache and ends in .dat

Make sure Dreamweaver is closed and delete that file.
