reset the workspace layout:
go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

Then close Dreamweaver and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

Try recreating the users configuration folder, this is the folder that contains the DW Cache file. Close DW, then rename the configuration folder to configuration_bak, then open DW to recreate it.

next open the extension manager, and remove the extensions, then install them again.

what extensions, including the version numbers, are installed?

What is your OS?

what are the steps you are taking to run into the error?

This information may help in deterring the cause.
