saving image path to database and retrieving

Okay i know how to make the file field and submit button to submit the image to a folder in my site directory.

I just don't know how to save the image path to my database so i can pull the image dynamically.

When i test the file upload, the image goes straight into my desired folder, i just don't know how to tell the database the name of the image and point it at the path of it.

Thanks

you shouldn't save the path to the database as it will be a relative path that may be different from one page to another.

In the Database starter kit tutorial:
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Getting-started-with-MySQL-and-dynamic-websites

I go through using the file name column from a table in a recordset for creating dynamic images on your pages.
