Under "Access Pages Manager" in Security Assist I have applied a rule to the page but it is not working properly

applied a rule to evaluate a user's access privilege based upon a criteria found in the recordset but even with the criteria meeting the necessary access level, I am being redirected to the "denied" page.

You cant use recordset values in access rules.

You need to edit the login page to save the user level to a session and use the user level session in your access rule.

Jason,
Spoke too soon...followed your instructions and when WA tries to update page with the corrected rule, i'm getting the attached error message. Please advise.

Also, my dreamweaver has crashed no less than 4 times since I installed your software this afternoon?? Please let me know why you think this might be happening....very frustrating as it has happened twice while in the middle of configuring one of your user interfaces.

reset the workspace layout. go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

What is your OS?

What is your DW Version?

What Extensions, including the version numbers are installed?
