While executing timer in WA_iRite.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

Getting this error:

"While executing timer in WA_iRite.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:

At line 162 of file "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration\Shared\Webassist\RichTextEditor\iRiteShared.js": rteSB.Nodes has no properties"

Has this been resolved? I see another user has posted this problem and not been given an answer. As he mentioned, there is not even a Webassist folder in the given path. iRite currently completely disabled and useless.

Coincidentally, since the time iRite failed, DreamWeaver starts up with message: "Unable to find file WA_Memento.htm in the Configuration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown". FYI, WA Memento has caused error messages ever since it was put on my machine (without my permission) by your software. I have managed to disable it up to this point. Now that it has reappeared, I would like instructions to remove it completely from my machine - along with an undertaking never to put unrequested software on my machine under the cloak of paid-for programs.

WRT iRite problem, tried applying it to text area in form in PHP page in Dreamweaver Site. Have tried uninstalling the extension and re-installing.

This may be an issue related the a problem with the cache file in Dreamweaver. You should try deleting this file to see if gets you past this error. Here is a link to a thread that lists where this file can be found, it is message 6 that has the paths.

Once you delete this file make sure to restart your machine before you attempt to use the tool again. Let us know if the issue persists.

Cheers Eric,

Have already resorted to reinstalling Dreamweaver, so missed out on trying that fix. I will keep it in mind though should the problem re-occur.

Ok, let us know if you have this issue again and clearing the cache file does not resolve it.
