Checkout failure

Ok... I deleted ALL the shipping info and just went with a flat rate... so I can get this cart working.
Then I completely deleted all the checkout pages and started over with the checkout wizard.
But... no matter how I do it... enter the payment info directly or thru paypal (I upgraded to Pro), the transactions just wont go thru. It takes the card and all other info just fine... but then it goes to a Transaction Failure page.

What do I try now?

See the "Debugging eCart transaction failed issues" tutorial on the eCart support page:
ecart/

the full response binding for the paypal checkout will contain details on the reason for the failure to help troubleshoot.

the error:
Security header is not valid

means that you API Credentials are not being accepted.

you may be using live credentials and accessing the sand box server, or vice versa. Also make sure that you have accepted the billing agreement after requesting the API credentials.

paypal api & billing agreement

Ok... I checked and Im live on both ends - so thats good

I also check the billing agreement and it's been done as well

Only thing I can think of is that since I just did it on Monday... maybe paypal hasnt finished the approval process yet?
I got an email almost immediately saying I was good to go... but I dont have a token or any such...

sometimes, paypal just gives you bad API Credentials, try generating new API Credentials.

api

Ok Jason
That's what it is I think
I did more research and Paypal hasnt sent me back the agreement to accept yet
Guess I'll wait for that and keep my fingers crossed... and quit redoing my checkout manager...

THANK YOU!

paypal

I found that I had already accepted the agreement

So... I called Paypal

They also told me to remove and regenerate the api credentials... which I did

Thanks again

api glitch - again

Ok Jason
I redid the api credentials
I opened the checkout page and under server behaviors I changed the authentication for paypal express checkout (chfcart)
Then I reran the test... and it once again went to the checkout failure page - with no codes this time... SO I added bindings for paypal payflow and paypal direct and ran the test again.

This time I got a code that says this:

Authentication/Authorization FailedUsername/Password is incorrect

It goes on to list the details - which are the details for the ORIGINAL api certificate... as if I havent changed it.

So I went into the authentication for paypal express and it is all changed and correct.

Is there somewhere else I need to change the api credentials other than in the authentication for paypall express checkout?

Im guessing there is....
