Paypal on checkout

Hi there
For some reason when I go thru the checkout wizard - even tho I choose "paypal & credit cards" & then put in my paypal ID - I dont get the paypal checkout button on my checkout form.

Ive started over 3 times now... and still cant get it to come out right.... even if I completely delete all the pages when I start over.

The tutorials I downloaded and printed deal with eCart 4... I have the latest version so the tutorials are different... but even if I just follow the flow of the wizard its not working for me. In fact it doesnt give me the window to enter in my paypal api info either.

Oh... and I dont get the area on my checkout page for customers to enter credit card info either...

Also... if I choose usps for shipping - no matter what I do I get the shipping failure page when I test the checkout page.

Thanks for your help.. prolly something simple Im missing but I cant figure it out.

Sounds like you are using paypal payments standard.

this choice sends the user to the paypal site from the confirm page. The transaction is processed on the paypal site whether the customer uses a credit card or a paypal account.

for the shipping problem, open the bindings panel and expand the usps shipping binding group. Add the Full request and Full response binding to the shipping failure page, this will add information to the failure page to help troubleshoot why the shipping is failing.

shipping error

Jason... I get this:

UspsCom::DoAuth API=RateV4&XML=PARCEL834408402510REGULARFalse80040b1aAuthorization failure. Perhaps username and/or password is incorrect. UspsCom::DoAuth

So... how do I go in and check my username and password in the settings?

open the confirm page, go to the server behaviors panel and double click the USPS Shipping server behavior

more shipping

Ok I did that..

It only asks for my user name... not my password

trigger says: any form post

and the xml server is: shippingapi.dll

are these settings correct?

yes, it will only ask for the user ID. You may need to contact USPS to have you account activated to access the production server.
