Menu writer crashing

I am trying to build a menu bar but menu writer keep crashing. The error shown

error occurred in update progress panel:
Type error: Status area has no properties

It sometimes works a couple of times but even then adds a menu twice

I am putting the menu into a sculpture

Does menu writer work with Dreamweaver cs6

the stand alone version of menu writer is not compatible with DW CS6, it has been replaced by Design Extender which will work in DW CS6.

go to Window -> Work Space layout -> Reset '<your layout name>'

and Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.php

What other extensions are installed, including the version numbers?

other extensions are

Design extender 1.1.1
Data bridge 1.1.3
Ecart 5.0.6

Resetting the layout and cache didn't make a difference

yes, if your creating a dynamic menu, that could cause a problem, do you have the same problem trying to create a static menu?

It looks like my table are causing the problem. Its ok using a static menu

Could you look at my menu at this website www.weldingtorchparts.co.uk

Can this type of menu be created with Menu writer with dynamic tables. Some categories have no subcategories and others can have 2,3 or more subcategories
