"Show All" button

"Show All" button

One more question for you . . .

Does the extension have the option to add a 'show all records' button which will refresh the page and show all the records rather than use the recordset paging (but to show the recordset paging by default unless this button is clicked)? A bit like the ADDT dynamic lists do?

Thanks again.

You would have to create a button that satisfies the trigger for the search server behavior but includes no form elements. This would effectively show all.

Hi Ray, thanks for the reply.

So, can I just check with you. If I do a search for the name 'Smith' and I am given 100 results on 5 pages of 20, in order to create a button which will show me all 100 'Smiths' id this is what I need to do?

Just thought I would clarify that it's not literally all the records I want to see, it's just the full set of 100 from that search on one page rather than 5 pages of 20 with paging. If this is what you understood me to mean and your answer is right for this then I apologise for being dim!!

Thanks yet again for the support.

Sorry... no I was not correct. My steps would have it show literally all of the records not just increase the size of the result set.

You would have to write code to do that currently. Basically you can adjust the value in the repeat region server behavior to see where the corresponding rows to repeat is stored. Then you can use hand written code to update the number of rows displayed based on a button press or other event.
