folder size limit?

Hi

I'm using the html editor successfully, with the user's folder being set to a session variable. This works fine for hundreds of users.

However, one very keen user of the site cannot gain access to the foolder - the editor window opens and remains blank.

I have checked the folder and it's contents totals about 105Mb - might this be significant? (There are no sub-folders)

When I took a backup of his folder, 13 files refused point blank to be downloaded, whatever I tried. If they are corrupted in some way, might this be significant?

Any suggestions - as I say, it works fine for everyone else (AFAIK!)

Thanks
Chris

it could be chocking on generating the thumbnails.

in the webassist/kfm/initialize.php file, find the following line of code:

php:
$kfm->defaultSetting('listview',0);

and change it to:

php:
$kfm->defaultSetting('listview',1);

this will force the folder display to use list view instead of showing icons.

it could also be that the corrupted files are causing the issue, if you can, try deleting them and see if that fixes it.

Hi Jason

Many thanks for the quick reply.

I will try deleting - I think it must be the thumbnail generation, as the list appears after a few seconds, if chosen.

Cheers
Chris

If it's the thumbnail generation, you can use the code I provided to force list view, otherwise, you will need to delete the corrupt files.
