Sage Payments - North America

Hi,

I have a client that uses Sage Payments (Virtual Terminal Account), which I learned from their tech support, is the North American branch of Sage Pay. It appears that Ecart supports Sage Pay but not Sage Payments. Here's a link for more info.

Is there a way to modify Ecart to support the North American branch? Or, if needed, can you guys build an api that will work with Sage Payments?

I attached the Express Pay docs they sent me, hope this helps.

Thanks,

Tony

no, eCart does not support Sage Payments, you would need to hand code the logic to process the transaction using this gateway.

Quote for API

Hi Jason,

Can I get a quote for the custom development of the API for this? I think my client might cover the cost to avoid having to pay paypal another $30 per month on top of the sage payment account fee.

I seem to recall that WA used to offer custom development of gateway APIs in the past and it may be a gateway that other users have clients on.

Let me know if WA can do the custom development and if so can you give me an estimate of the cost and time frame for development.

Thanks,

Tony

we offer premiere support appointments at $99 for 30 minutes of custom development time. I cant say how long it would take for this to be completed though.

Next steps

Hi Jason,

Sorry for the double posting....I just responded to another post about this as well.

Anyway, I'd like to pursue this. Is there any way, given that Ecarts Authorize.nets API seems to work with Sage Payments gateway, that we can determine a rough estimate of the cost? We can do this through a ticket, but I want to have the client in on this and would need to have at least a rough estimate. Should we continue this by phone or should I submit a ticket?

I don't want to submit a $99 ticket to find out it's going to cost way more than it's worth. I do think that I can pay a reasonable amount to modify the Authorize.net Ecart support so that it works with Sage Payments, giving me a solution that works, and WA another popular gateway to add to the list of supported gateways.

Let me know if there's any way you can give me an estimate for this work. Seems like there's a lot of experience building api's for various gateways and one of yuou should know roughly how long it will take.....give or take an hour or so.

Thanks and I'm looking forward to hearing from you about this.

if authorize.net works with Sage Payments there is no development to be done, the authorize.net code is already implemented in eCart.

if there is any development that needs to be done, we can do that in a premiere ticket appointment.

Thanks

Thanks Jason,

I'm waiting to hear from my client and thech support at Sage Payments about this. I know you guys can hook this up if needed so I'll check with SP and if there is some work needed I get a premium ticket.

Thanks,

Tony
