I am struggling with getting this to work. I've tested and retested.

Starting simple: Just a plain text message. The preview is delivered, and it's fine. But the mail never gets out to my set up test accounts, all my own emails.

I am using a legit email on the domain.
I am not including huge art files.
I am only sending to a handful of emails.

The spam and preview sends both work.

What can I check to see what to fix?

I run other email mail systems; this was to be a new replacement for more client-hands on. It's my server, so no hideous godaddy issues, etc.

Any ideas, most appreciated.

Tried the mail server entered (mail.domain.org) with and without the 'additional email parameters' checked.

Where else can I look? Thanks.

I think I have found the problem. The pop/imap on my server is showing a red button, albeit the email is working. The restart isn't working, so will need to get my tech support involved.

Talking to my server tech guys and they tell me this:


"We have checked the status of mail service in the server and it is working fine. The problem of 'red' button is isolated to your control panel and it is not affecting any services in the server."

So... I'm back to square one. I can send a preview and a spam test but can not send the actual email even when just a text message.

Any ideas, most appreciated.

In case anyone else runs into this, it was the settings in Email Settings. I had set the time between each too high and the server was timing out. Current settings are now
