Where is SiteScribe?

Where is SiteScribe?

My first question is why is there no forum topic specific to this extension? Secondly. I keep trying to create a PDF from a local site and it won't work. It says navigation to the web page has been canceled and no PDF is created.

Site Scribe has been discontinued for over 2 years now and is no longer supported.

The error you are getting suggests that there is an issue with your Site Definition in Dreamweaver, most likely the problem is a bad URL Prefix for the testing server.

Why was it discontinued? And why for goodness sake would WA drop support to their customers for one of their extensions regardless of whether the company continues to update it? Still have it and still trying to use it in its most recent form.

It was discontinued because very few people purchased it.

Our policy is to support a discontinued extension for 1 year after it is discontinued.

That being said, I did offer a possible cause to your problem:

did you check that?

What is your OS?

What version of Dreamweaver are you using?
