Theme-it with WordPress themes?

Is it possible to use theme-it to make changes to the CSS of a WordPress theme? When I tried this Theme-it became inaccessible (probably because I had to go to Live View) to run the WordPress theme. Very interested in experiences of others with respect to the use of Theme-it with WordPress themes and possible solutions.
