Mal's E-commerce

Hi,

I am looking to add Power Store or a site that is using Mal's E-Commerce as the shopping cart/gateway. The site owners want to continue to use Mal's but have the ability to log in and create/edit products etc.

They like the look of power store to manage products so I need a way to use PS with Mal's.

Can this be done?

And tips/advice gratefully received.

Cheers,
Kevin.

PS. I sent the same questions to WA Sales but got no reply :-(

I have no experience with Mal's eCommerce, but it is most likely not possible to use the two products together with considerable hand coding.

Most likely, the database structure used by PowerStore is quite different from the Database Structure of Mal's eCommerce.

I didn't think the database structure would be an issue. The Mal's database is hosted by them and does not hold product information. The cart contents is session based I think. You simply provide the information to them and they manage the shopping cart.

Cheers,
Kevin.
