cafe commerce custom logo not showing

0

customer's custom logo is not showing up on his store.

ya-dale.com

(It's just blank or image doesn't load)
To reproduce¶

admin/
Username: lapeceradigital@gmail.com
Password: ra881477

Clicked on Design
Clicked on "Customize" for current theme
Clicked on Images
Clicked on the "folder icon"
Selected "ya-dale.png" (that's the one he wants)
Clicked OK

It actually shows a preview right there and then, and it seems to be fine. I then click on Save.

Then if you go to the home page, the logo doesn't actually show up.
Expected result¶

that logo displays correctly

Thanks Ralph,

we did some initial testing on the issue and we could not reproduced the issue on our end with similar set up and similar images types (the same theme with the same image).

We have created a new theme and used the same image and the logo is showing up correctly on the site.

Is it possible to get more information about the customer set up, such as the OS and the browser he was using as this will help us narrow down what could have caused this issue.

I'm not sure exactly what caused the problem, but when I edited the design again from the original page template it worked...

So I overwrote his edited themes with the original again and they seem to be functioning properly. It would be interesting to find out steps to reproduce what causes this problem in the first place, since the only solution I could find was to start over with the original theme, but some steps must bring it to that point in the first place, but I couldn't reproduce it.

Luckily this user didn't have many other updates so starting over fresh won't be a big deal I'm sure, but after it has been live for a while if someone runs into this and has more time invested in making edits it could be a bigger issue.

You can let them know that it appears to be working now and if it happens again to him or anyone else we should try to find out what they were doing recently that may have caused the problem in the first place.
