DataAssist JavaScript error at launch

Running DWCS4 on an Intel Mac. When I try to launch DataAssist v2.0.5 I get the following error message:

While executing onLoad in WA_AppBuilder.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occured:

At line 337 of the file "Macintosh HD:Applications:Adobe Dreamweaver CS4:Configuration:Commands:WA_AppBuilder.js": WASA_Bundle.chechSerial is not a function

I've tried deleting the MacFileCache. I've tried removing and re-installing all my extentions. Line 337 in WA_AppBuilder.js :

}
catch(e){
if(WASA_Bundle.checkSerial(DWfile.read(WASA_Config))){
siteAssistObj = WASA_Bundle;
useBundle = true;
}
I've tried changing it to false, no joy. Help!

looks like it might be a conflict with the site assist version you have installed? Do you have siteassist installed? What version?

You may be able to fix it by simply commenting out the funciton call:
initializeUISiteAssistAddition(); on line 320

Sorry, can you remind me how to commented out line 320 in WA_AppBuilder.js. Also I've removed and re-installed SiteAssistPro105. That has changed the error message when trying to open DataAssist to:

While executing onLoad in WA_AppBuilder.htm, the following JavaScrit error(s) occurred:

In file "WA_AppBuilder
initializeUl is not defined

Remembered how to comment out "//"

Just removed MacFileCache and re-booted and hey presto! DataAssist works!

Thanks Ray

In file: "WA_AppBuilder":
initializeUI is not defined.

In file: "WA_Memento":
_MementoNotifications is not defined.

these errors BOTH seem to have happenend AFTER i've installed the Digital File Pro extension.

You most likely need to delete your winfilecache .dat file and the problems will go away.

Just do a search on this forum for winfilecache. The location is spelled out dozens of times.
