CS5, menu stalling out

I have dumped the .dat file, resinstalled menu (2), restarted machine, etc. I deleted all the csmenu files from the site. But nothing is resolving issue. Dreamweaver just stalls out when the menu is launched. Have to force quit.

Any other ideas?

thanks

Thanks... I pulled the files though so can't reproduce the problem at the moment, but I think I may be having more issues than just this as posted in DA forum area. I am uninstalling all extensions now to try to trouble shoot what is going on.

I too am suffering with a similar problem.

I have just installed the CSS Menu Writer 2 on my laptop. I am on Windows 7 Pro and running CS5 Dreamweaver.

When I install a navigation menu, it all appears on the page correctly and also works correctly. Unfortunately, whatever I do I cannot edit the menu. There is none of the usual icons to click on.

Hi Dave,

Sorry if you have already checked these, but just to rule out:

DreamWeaver Menu > View > Visual Aids > Invisible Elements (checked)

and

DreamWeaver menu > Edit > Preferences > Invisible Elements > Scripts (checked)

The first one of these had us baffled for a while not long ago.
